The session lasts around 60 minutes, 45 minutes is a discussion with a guest, and 15 minutes is a Q&A session with the participants.

MCIT program advisors invite a guest in each Info Session (an instructor, or an industry subject matter expert) to provide insight around the particular topic and/or faculty and program. 

Info Sessions are for those who are looking to invest in IT and technology education and are in the process of collecting relevant information about the employment market, IT programs, and institutions. 

Tech education is relevant for many different profiles of existing and new professionals:

1. You are a newcomer to Canada and bring a lot of experience from your home country. You can build on top of your existing background by pairing it with relevant technology education.
2. You might want to pivot your career into a more tech-focused role and look to learn the foundation and the hands-on IT tools that companies are investing in. 
3. You want to advance the projection of your existing career path and try to acquire current and future tech skills

Yes, there is a Q&A session at the end, where you can ask direct questions to our hosts. Our moderators also answer questions via the chat function of the webinar throughout the session.
